Agave Business Park

The PED believes the formation of a first class business park development can be an instrument in diversifying the local economy by offering incentives to companies to invest in Lake Havasu City and bring quality jobs. This concept was the mission of the Foundation For The Future which to date has raised more than $964,678 dollars for the sole use of bringing a business park online and then having enough dollars to aggressively market to outside companies. This goal and strategy was well received and widely applauded in the business ped. The main push behind this effort was for the job creation possibilities because the PED was not motivated by profit and could essentially give big incentives if the right amount of jobs or total capitol investment was being offered.

In August 2010 the PED announced Astro Haven Enterprises has signed a MOU to be the first tenant in the Agave Business Park. Astro Haven is a light manufacturer with world-wide distribution of there products. They are currently designing their new facilities and hope to be in full operation sometime in 2011.
